The ultimate, indulgent snack for one

The culinary team from Paradise Point’s Barefoot Bar & Grill in San Diego share an easy-to-follow recipe for their creative, indulgent riff on classic cheese fries.

Make ‘Em Dirty Fries Recipe (Yields 1 portion)

5 oz. frozen french fries
2 oz. salsa
2 oz. ground, raw chorizo
2 oz. cheese sauce
½ oz. Cotija cheese
Pinch kosher salt
Pinch chopped cilantro


  1. Deep fry the french fries, season with salt, and place into a serving bowl.
  2. Sauté the ground chorizo, drain the excess oil, and place on of the fries.
  3. Drizzle the cheese sauce around the fries, and then on the top.
  4. Top with salsa.
  5. Finish with a sprinkle of Cotija cheese and chopped cilantro. Serve hot.
