A Refreshing Summer Cocktail
You’ll want to sip this all summer long
Just in time for summer, Carson’s American Kitchen, the popular restaurant at Sunriver Resort, is sharing a recipe for one of their most popular summer cocktails, the Cranberry-Apple Mule. It’s a fun twist on the classic Moscow Mule, and strikes a thirst-quenching balance of sweet, tart, and spice with the help of ginger beer and an apple cinnamon-infused vodka from Wild Roots, a local distillery based in the nearby town of Sisters. And with just four ingredients, it’s a snap to make!
Recipe for Sunriver Resort’s Cranberry-Apple Mule (Yields 1 serving)
2 ounces Wild Roots apple cinnamon vodka
1 ounce cranberry juice
1 ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice
Ginger beer, to top
- Fill a copper mug with ice.
- Combine vodka, cranberry juice and fresh lime juice. Stir to mix.
- Fill the mug with the stirred mixture, and top with ginger beer.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
