Breweries You Can’t Miss In Loudoun County
There’s lots more to the Loudoun County than wonderful wines
Loudoun County might be renown for its world-class wines, but the local craft beer scene is thriving and on the rise. Below you will find three Loudoun County breweries in Northern VA, you shouldn’t miss when visiting the area.
Lost Rhino Brewing Company
Opened in 2011 by Matt Hagerman and Favio Garcia, this brewery in Ashburn keeps a few signature beers (like New River Pale Ale and Face Plant IPA) on tap year-round, while rotating seasonal brews and new launches. Kids get in on the fun, too, with the non-alcoholic root beer. There’s also a full menu of beer-friendly bites, including bavarian pretzels, nachos, and sliders
Adroit Theory Brewing Company
It may not be the biggest brewery, but it’s got a mighty big following. Beers are typically produced with just one or two kegs at a time, with a strong focus on barrel aging. In the tasting room, beers are poured as Tasters (3 ounces) and Tulips (10 ounces). Adroit is especially renown for its more unusual flavors, like salted watermelon gose and caramel macchiato milk stout.
Loudoun Brewing Company
Located in the heart of historic downtown Leesburg, this family-owned nano brewery may only have 8 beers on tap, but the small batch brews are always on rotation. The vibes are low-key and friendly, and there’s frequently live music and food trucks on-site doling out barbecue and other hearty snacks.
