Blue Whale with two people looking out

Blue Whale Watching in San Diego

Now is the time to see these magnificent creatures

Did you know that blue whales are the largest creatures on our planet and among the most endangered? That’s why it’s such a special and important experience to see them in person. From mid-June through September, you can spot them off San Diego’s coast during their feeding sessions. They’re magnificent to behold, as some can grow up to one-hundred feet long. For the best (and safest) views, though, locals recommend booking a professional boat excursion.
