Four Destination Hotels & Resorts Properties Listed Among Best of the Best in Ski Country According to Readers of Conde Nast Traveler

Annual Ski Poll Ranks Top Mountain Destinations

Englewood, Colo. - December 2007 - Readers of Conde Nast Traveler recently ranked four Destination Hotels & Resorts properties among the best in ski country in the magazine's annual Ski Poll. The annual Ski Poll ranks the top 50 properties in world-class mountain resorts. Destination properties rated on the poll include Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe (No. 24), Vail Cascade Resort & Spa in Colorado (No. 38), Sunriver Resort in Oregon (No. 47) and The Gant in Aspen (No. 48).

Destination has a successful track record of operating prestigious mountain resorts. From its origins in Aspen in 1973 with the opening of The Gant, an upscale condominium resort, Destination has grown to include some of the most distinctive properties in world-class ski resorts such as Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Lake Tahoe and Mount Bachelor in Oregon.

The company's mountain collection of properties will add the Ski Capital of the East to its roster of resorts in 2008 with the opening of Stowe Mountain Lodge in Vermont. The 139-room luxury lodge at the base of Stowe Mountain Resort's Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak, will be part of an alpine village offering a four season experience. The ski-in/ski-out property is well-situated in the heart of the new Spruce Peak at Stowe alpine village. The resort is scheduled to open spring 2008.
