Olga Simkina and Michael Agnew Join Team to Grow Distinctive Portfolio of Hotels and Resorts

Englewood, Colo. – October 17, 2011 – Destination Hotels & Resorts, announces the appointment of Michael Agnew as investment analyst and Olga Simkina as director of hospitality investments. Mr. Agnew and Ms. Simkina join the hospitality investments team to support the development of Destination Hotels & Resorts distinctive portfolio and further acquisitions and management contract growth strategies for the company.

Olga Simkina will be involved with the negotiations and underwriting of new business opportunities for Lowe Hospitality Group and Destination Hotels & Resorts. Ms. Simkina will work closely with the asset management and business development teams. Prior to joining Destination Hotels & Resorts, Ms. Simkina worked with LaSalle Hotel Properties where she worked on the new acquisitions and asset management of LaSalle’s existing portfolio. She is a graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.

Michael Agnew will work with the acquisitions department in underwriting, valuing and acquiring of new urban and resort assets. In addition, Mr. Agnew will assist in the procuring of new management opportunities for Destination Hotels & Resorts. Previously, Mr. Agnew worked with Stonebridge Companies where he assisted in the underwriting and acquisition of select service branded hotels across the country. Mr. Agnew is involved with Habitat for Humanity, Habitat for Young Professionals, The Urban Land Institute and The National Association of Industrial and Office Parks. He is a graduate of the University of Denver with a Master of Science in Real Estate Investments and the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Regional Development.
