Allen Anderson Appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for Skamania Lodge, a Destination Hotels & Resorts Property

Stevenson, Wash. – Dec. 13, 2006 – Andy Anderson, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Destination Hotels and Resorts, announces the appointment of Allen Anderson as director of sales and marketing for Skamania Lodge, a scenic Pacific Northwest mountain resort. Allen Anderson, a senior hospitality sales and marketing executive, comes to Skamania with more than 25 years of experience in the industry.

Prior to joining Skamania Lodge, Anderson was the director of marketing at Ocean Hammock Resort in Palm Coast, Fla. (originally managed by DH&R), where he managed all sales, marketing and promotional activities for the premier golf and oceanfront resort. From 1996 to 2005, he was the director of marketing and special events at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, a AAA four-diamond property.

From 1987 to 2004, Anderson was the vice president of sales and marketing for ClubResorts, Inc., Division of Club Corporation of America, where he directed all corporate marketing sales and marketing activities for a portfolio of properties, including the renowned Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C., Barton Creek Resort at Austin, Texas, and other properties throughout the US and Caribbean. Anderson has served on and been recognized for contributions to numerous local, state, and regional tourism and marketing organizations throughout his career.
