Golf Properties
Destination Hotels & Resorts manages 10 golf properties that range from high-altitude courses with panoramic views of mountain peaks to colorful courses in the desert of Arizona. Other courses play along the ocean providing unique water hazards to golfers. The names of famed golfers and golf architects who have designed these courses are endless – Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Tom Fazio, Michael Hurdzan and Jack Nicklaus to name a few. Ski Properties
With its roots dating back to the opening of The Gant in Aspen, Colo., Destination Hotels & Resorts is firmly entrenched in world-class mountain resorts. The company offers eight distinctive resort and condominium offerings at top mountain destinations throughout the United States. Many properties sit at the base of the premier ski and snowboard areas in the country – Aspen, Snowmass, Squaw Valley USA, Telluride and Vail. Destination is a subsidiary of the Lowe Hospitality Group, which is owned by Lowe Enterprises, Inc., a real estate investment, management and development firm headquartered in Los Angeles, Calif.
Development
Destination Hotels & Resorts works in conjunction with its affiliate Lowe Destination Development Company to identify future opportunities for the Lowe Hospitality Group. LDD, also a subsidiary of LHG, is responsible for the development of LHG hospitality projects including both hotels and resort communities. Recently completed hotel projects include The Boardwalk Inn at Wild Dunes, Inn at Suncadia, and Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. All LDD hospitality projects are managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts upon completion.
