Culinary Overview
Portals restaurant at Suncadia Resort features panoramic views of the Pacific Northwest landscape including the Cascade Mountains and Cle Elum River, along with menus featuring stream-caught fish and Washington beef and game, prepared using home-style techniques. Executive Chef Andrew Wilson prepares menus featuring home-style cuisine, with locally and organically grown ingredients.
Diners at Portals can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner services in a social and friendly dining atmosphere in the center of the resort. Dinner begins with rosemary grilled flatbread, Angus beef sliders or a mixed seafood steamer pot brimming with clams, prawns and mussels. Second courses feature pastas of wheat berry risotto and lobster mac and cheese, shouldering fresh-caught seafood including swift river trout and wild king salmon.
It is hard for diners to choose from Portals’ variety of locally fresh seafood or farm raised lamb, strip loin and tomahawk pork chop.
