Culinary Overview
Headed by Executive Chef Sean Buchanan, Solstice is Stowe Mountain Lodge’s artisan-inspired signature restaurant. Diners can experience a farm to table menu that is strongly tied to Stowe’s rich, agricultural offerings including the freshest in beef, dairy and produce.
The dining room of Solstice features an open air kitchen and views of Spruce Peak Mountain, along with locally created, custom pieces of furniture and pottery. Solstice is a strong supporter of the Vermont Fresh Network, a partnership with area farms, which results in the freshest and often times totally organic dishes. From locally raised lamb sautéed in basil-ginger broth, to grilled Vermont farm steaks and artisanal cheese platter, diners at Solstice can experience the area’s rich and bountiful agriculture through a savory selection of award-winning dishes.
