Vail Mountain

• Front Side - More than 1,600 acres of terrain ideal for newer skiers.
• Back Bowls - More than 3,000 acres of the most difficult, powdery terrain.
• Blue Sky Basin - Offers gladed skiing, with nearly half ideal for intermediate skiers.
• Open mid-November through mid-April
• Hours - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. closes 4 p.m. in early February.
• Base Elevation - 8,120 feet / 2,476 meters
• Peak Elevation - 11,570 feet / 3,527 meters
• Vertical Rise - 3,450 feet / 1,052 meters
