In June 2008, Destination Hotels & Resorts reopened the doors of L'Auberge Del Mar after a seven-month grand renovation and repositioning. Located in the heart of Southern California's picturesque coastal village of Del Mar, the historic seaside resort sets a new standard in the coastal hospitality Southern California is known for.
The revitalized L'Auberge encompasses an upgraded resort that is reminiscent of a welcoming, private coastal estate, including a redesign of the lobby, meeting space, and resort accommodations including 120 guest rooms and suites. L'Auberge Del Mar also features a new restaurant - KITCHEN 1540 - led by James Beard Chef Paul McCabe, and a brand new spa.
