Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa - San Diego, CA
Construction commenced in October 2002 on the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, just north of San Diego and the hotel opened in June 2004. The 210-room conference hotel features 20,000 square feet of meeting space with top-notch amenities, pool and spa. Estancia is designed in "Old California Mission" style, with existing historic stables and cottages renovated and incorporated into the project. Lowe Enterprises and Destination Hotels & Resorts were selected by the University of California San Diego to develop and manage the $60 million conference center hotel.
