TravelLady Boasts Luminaria's Chocolate Truffles as Personal Favorite!
Recently, Madelyn Miller, the TravelLady, stopped by Santa Fe's Inn and Spa at Loretto for a visit. Madelyn was on a quest to see what Santa Fe had to offer when it comes to delicious Chocolate treats. Well, Santa Fe did not disappoint, and Luminaria Restaurant & Patiomade tops on her list of favorites. In her article - Santa Fe Chocolate Trail, Madelyn writes “If I could repeat only one chocolate experience in Santa Fe, it would be the chocolate truffles at Luminaria in the Inn and Spa at Loretto".
She goes on to say, "They would go in my own personal Hall of Fame. I had a chance to meet Andrea Clover, the pastry chef who created this culinary wonder. She graciously spent a few minutes with me the day before four weddings and Father’s Day. And when I requested chocolate for a photo, she brought out some chocolate turtles. I am pretty smart, if I do say so myself. At least when it comes to chocolate. I also tasted some chocolates she made for an evening event. I would love to be her personal taste tester. She is a genius of chocolate”.
Madelyn also talked about the great shopping that she found at the Inn. “I think the Inn and Spa at Loretto might be the true epi-center of shopping. There are gorgeous stores with unique but pricey items, but if you step outside the door, you will find vendors selling many craft items. Probably not authentic, but the prices are realistic. Since they are just off the square, even the indoor shops nearby are less expensive”.
