The Alvadora Spa’s Mare di Concha Massage, or hot shell massage, uses a perfect combination of heat and gentle pressure to connect you to the peaceful environment of Alvadora.

We’ve imported clamshells from the Philippines that are then buffed until they’re nice and smooth.  The shells are fused together and filled with an organic solution that creates heat to keep the shell warm throughout the treatment.

This specialty massage is often compared to a stone massage, but the Mare di Concha takes it up a notch.  Throughout the treatment, you are massaged with the shells, rather than with hands.  The combination of heat, oil and the silky smooth shells creates a state of bliss for your body that is indescribable.
