Caldera Springs Welcomes a New Resident
The beautiful lakes at Caldera Springs at Sunriver Resort have welcomed owners and guests who have kayaked, canoed and fly fished in these waters each summer for the past three years. But this winter, a new face was spotted in the lakes.
A North American River otter has joined in on the vibrant construction activity that we’ve been seeing in the community and has decided that Caldera Springs is the best place to live in Central Oregon. The acres of lakes stocked with rainbow trout probably helped a bit too. We have lovinginly named this new Caldera Springs mascot “Harper” after the original owners of the partial of land on which Caldera Springs is now located. If you are in Sunriver, be sure to stop by the lakehouse at Caldera Springs and look for him.
