Congratulations to little Sofie for hosting the superbly successful Pooch Party at L'Auberge Del Mar! Thanks to Second Chance Dog Rescue, Helen Woodward Animal Center and Pug Rescue of San Diego, guests were able to show their puppy love by adopting and bringing home a pooch of their very own. With two adoptions and a bounty of inquiries, we'd like to also extend a big thank you to all of our pup and parent partygoers for joining us and opening their hearts (and homes!) to dogs in need. Another fun, Fido-friendly event Sofie will be sure to attend is the 1st Annual Puppy Love 5K Run/Walk on February 6, 2010, hosted by Helen Woodward Animal Center. This fantastic organization not only finds homes for pets, but also provides programs to benefit our community. Enjoy fun filled events such as doggie yoga and a costume contest. You can even meet your match on a "doggy date", provided by the experts at It's Just Lunch. Great fun for a great cause.
