Chef Richard A. Bailey, from Manor Vail's Lord Gore Restaurant,  is pleased to host a special evening, the Colorado Beer Pairings Event, on Friday, September 3 at 6pm.  Colorado is known for its outstanding selection of microbrews and Chef Richard Bailey is known for his focus on local, organic foods that deliver a global appeal.  On Labor Day weekend (Friday, August 3) these two come together for an event in a fun atmosphere of tasting stations on the best deck in Vail.  The Fitz Lounge will play host and the cost is $45 per person.

One of our most recent charming duos that let us host their special day, Karianne and Seth Atwell, put a delicious twist on a late night snack.  Our talented wedding coordinators composed a scrumptous (and adorable) tower of donuts to share with the guests, compliments of the one and only, Krispy Kreme.  The lucky attendees enjoyed an oceanfront ceremony on our Sunset Terrace, and then headed to finish the party with dinner and dancing in our Platinum Ballroom, not to mention that late night snack...

Great fabulous accommodations. Loved the location easy walk to everything...beautiful pool and Jacuzzi, and the service is outstanding. Still have the shuttle number in my fast dials on my cell phone!! They were awesome!!! Can't wait to return...wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Wanted to let you know that our group had a great time and they were very happy with the entire stay. The check in was well done. We all understood that the hotel was very busy the night before and early check in was not going to happen. Thank you for the nice snack tray and the card. Very nice touch. It was very considerate of you to come to the golf course and introduce yourself. Shows you care about your customers. Even if it is a small group like ours.The Pro Shop did a fantastic job on Sunday of setting up our group. Everything from the marked golf carts with water to yardage books and divot tools was taken care of. Please pass on the groups thanks again to Guy and his staff. Dinner was a little hectic as the lounge was busy when we came down and 20 of us ended up eating in the dining room. Here again even with 20 of us showing up, without a reservation, the restaurant staff handled it great. They had us all seated and taking orders in about 20 minutes. The servers did a wonderful job. My server (sorry I don't recall her name) even asked me if I realized there was a gratuity included on the bill when she saw I had written in a tip. I told her yes I did, but wanted to increase the amount because of the hard work she did. She really did a great job. The weather turned out perfect on Monday so we had a wonderful final day on the course. However this was not the end of the trip yet! At our after event BBQ I received a call that our group had left behind a Golf Buddy GPS and a cell phone. When the owners were found the Pro Shop folks told them they would mail their equipment back to them. That was very nice and appreciated. Start to finish a job well done.

We rented a unit at the Gant this summer for our first trip to Aspen. Several people had recommended it for our family. The unit was wonderful- they even let us move the first day to a unit that suited us better. The nice bellman moved a lot of luggage from the first unit to one much further away with no complaint. Everyone working there was really helpful and pleasant to work with. They helped us get tickets to the Natalie Cole concert which was fabulous! The grounds are very well kept and the hot tub spotless. ( I am not one to get in hot tubs so that says a lot) The trail up to the top of Aspen mtn started at the back gate. Everything else ( grocery, restaurants, movie house) was a healthy quick stroll away. Plan to go back as soon as we can!

The Inn and Spa at Loretto, Santa Fe, would like to introduce you to Newman. Newman is our resident Harris Hawk. Newman has been staying with us for several weeks, and we are excited about having him with us.

If you build it...they will come.  That's exactly what we said when one of our latest Audi groups stayed with us last week at L'Auberge Del Mar.

The incredible team at Audijoined forces with L'Auberge to hold a swanky, week-long launch of the new R8 Spyder V10.  This alluring sports car, featured in Iron Man 2, was lifted to its home for the week by a crane onto our ocean view Pacific Terrace.  The lush grounds of L'Auberge Del Mar were splashed with Audis of all shapes, colors, and sizes.  We're still drooling...
